The Litchfield Hills Duathlon is a 4.5K run, 40K bike and 10K run. The Duathlon starts simultaneously with the triathlon swim. The first run of the du is a 2.85 mile course along the same roads used for the 10K. Starting at the water’s edge, the race begins with an uphill 1/4 mile climb on a dirt road in Brodie Park. The rest of the run travels along the quiet roads surrounding the park.
The Duathlon bike course and second run are the same as the triathlon. Duathletes and triathletes will race together. See description for these courses.
